What is PIA?

The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of New York and New Jersey are groups that represent independent insurance agents and brokers who sell property and casualty insurance. These professional organizations have been around for nearly 75 years and all well-known sources of knowledge within the insurance industry. They give their members many services such as:

  • assistance with law aspects of their business,
  • insurance education and training,
  • Networking opportunities with other professional insurance agents,
  • Access to insurance products and trade show events.

The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) also put together yearly insurance conferences and insurance events where people in the industry can get to know and share what they know. This year’s annual insurance conference was held at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Professional Insurance Agents of New York and New Jersey are part of a bigger insurance organization called the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National). They have been helping insurance agents since 1939 succeed by giving them the tools and resources that they need. These include insurance conferences and insurance events where agents can learn about the latest trends and the best ways to do their jobs.

What is an Insurance Virtual Assistant?

Professional insurance agents are always on the lookout for ways to improve their insurance back-office. With the help of technology, service providers like InsBOSS are stepping up to deliver innovative insurance back-office solutions to help streamline your day-to-day tasks.

One such solution that has been gaining traction in the insurance industry is insurance virtual assistants. They are dependable remote staff who can handle up to 90% of insurance back office outsourcing tasks, allowing professional insurance agents to focus on what matters most: providing exceptional service to their customers.

So what exactly does an insurance virtual assistant do? In simple terms, they are highly skilled remote professionals who specialize in taking care of the administrative and support tasks that keep professional insurance agents running smoothly.

These insurance virtual assistants are well-versed in the complexities of the insurance industry. They can tackle a wide variety of insurance back office outsourcing tasks, from managing policies, managing books and invoices, providing customer service, and supporting telemarketing efforts.

How Can Insurance Virtual Assistants Streamline Your Back Office?

But how can insurance virtual assistants benefit professional insurance agents?

First, they can boost efficiency. By handing off time-consuming insurance back office outsourcing tasks to an insurance virtual assistant, professional insurance agents can focus more on income-generating aspects of their business. Additionally, this increased efficiency leads to higher productivity and a healthier bottom line, which is often discussed at insurance events and insurance conferences.

Another significant advantage of hiring an insurance virtual assistant is cost savings. Employing a full-time, in-house employee can be expensive. Moreover, you have to consider their benefits, office space, and equipment. This is where insurance virtual assistants offer a cost-effective alternative for professional insurance agents. With VAs, you only pay for the hours worked and don’t have to worry about additional overhead costs.

Insurance virtual assistants also bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, which is invaluable for professional insurance agents. They are well-acquainted with industry-specific software, regulations, and best practices. This means that they can immediately contribute to the success of professional insurance agents, a benefit that is often highlighted at insurance events and insurance conferences.

In essence, insurance virtual assistants are revolutionizing the way professional insurance agents do business. By taking over the majority of insurance back office outsourcing tasks and providing specialized support. Also, insurance virtual assistants can help professional insurance agents work smarter, save more money, and deliver better customer service.
